Update from Quicklift Garage Doors regarding Coronavirus
To our valued customers,
We're living through some uniquely challenging times and the circumstances are continuously evolving in relation to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The people of Australia and all our organisations are being called upon to respond and adapt in a conscious and socially responsible way. I’m writing to update you on the measures we’ve put in place to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and the wider community remain our top priority.
We are closely monitoring updates from the Department of Health and the World Health Organisation regarding COVID-19. We will continue to be guided by and implement any necessary processes set out by these authorities, public health officials and all levels of government.
Due to COVID-19, our office is taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff. We have implemented strict hygiene and social distancing response measures that govern how our Showroom, Sales Consultants, and field technicians carry out their work. We have also implemented an array of measures to ensure the health and well-being of our broader team and customers. Many such actions are identified in this document as per the following categories.
Due to COVID-19, our office and staff are taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety & well-being of our customers and staff. Please read the following for our updated business process during this time.
We have adapted an appropriate screening process for all staff and customers. Prior to confirming attendance to a customer’s premises/site or a customer attending our showroom, the following questions are being asked:
Customers are asked to knock on our office door and wait momentarily. They are then greeted by a member of our staff and asked the above questions before they’re cleared to enter our premises.
As a business we will still accept cash, however we are encouraging the use of non-contact payment such as card or direct deposit/transfer.
We will continue to service our customers, however any self-isolating customers or those which may have been exposed to, or show symptoms of COVID-19 cannot be attended to at this time. We will continue to monitor these job sites until cleared by the responsible authority.
Until further notice all physical brochures have been removed from our showroom and office, however our website remains up to date with digital brochures for our products.
We are in regular communication with our employees and broader team, reminding them of the importance of good hygiene and providing them with health education and support available.
We continue to source safety items such as sanitizers and protective supplies for our team. We have provided ‘Safety Hygiene Packs’ to all customer-facing personnel to ensure they have the tools and supplies necessary to protect themselves and others.
We are endeavouring to minimize the impact of the Covid-19 virus on our service model, and we’re taking extensive preventative action to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers alike. The Quicklift team continue to operate at full capacity, including the continued operation of our 24/7 emergency service program.
We are hearing many stories of how people are coming together right now, collectively supporting their wider community, and helping one another get through these challenging, rapidly changing times. Please know that we are here to support you, and invite you to reach out and let us know should you need any additional help or support.
We ask that should you become aware of any circumstance whereby any of our team may have come into close proximity or contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with, or suspect they may be suffering from Covid-19, or anyone who has entered into mandatory or self-isolation, can you please notify us immediately so we can take the appropriate action required to ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff.
We also ask that any correspondence including purchase orders for example, be emailed to your Account Manager or Sales Consultant in place of any physical copies being provided or sent.
