Service Technician Role

Quicklift Garage Doors is an industry leader in the sales, installation and servicing of garage doors, gates, and automation across a huge range of products/brands.
The Quicklift Garage Doors Team currently has an opportunity for a mobile garage door Service Technician to perform installation and maintenance of automated solutions.

As a mobile garage door Service Technician, the position will focus on installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining automated garage door and gate solutions all over Melbourne, whilst providing a high level of customer service to our customers.

To succeed in this position you will need excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to understand technical diagrams and documents, and be confident relaying this information to others. You will be self-reliant, able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Selection Criteria

• Previous experience in the Garage Door Industry is preferred or from a similar industry
• Current and valid Driver's Licence
• Good Communication; language and literacy skills
• Excellent organisation and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently or in a small team
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Customer service and sales
• Mechanical qualifications/knowledge and aptitude highly regarded
• Welding knowledge and skills highly regarded
• Electrical- diagnostic skills and abilities highly regarded
• Rotating evening and weekend coverage are required
